VALORANT // Style Study

For my honour's project at Abertay University, I've given myself the task of creating a collection of concept art and promotional illustrations for a fanmade Valorant agent, contract, and map.
My personal goal for this project is to come away with a more diverse portfolio that will assist me in commencing
my journey towards becoming a professional concept artist.
I believe that by creating work for the VALORANT world, I will be enhancing my own artistic skills and expanding
my visual library.
Working in an established art style will help demonstrate to potential employers my ability to adapt to their
existing projects. In today's industry, sequels and live projects are becoming increasingly popular; as a junior artist,
I'll need to demonstrate my ability to bring original ideas to the table while remaining relevant to the work at hand.
For the first stage of my project, I wanted to study the art style of the game, particularly the work of Suke and Atey Ghailan. I feel like I've already been able to understand the illustrative style of the game and look forward to updating you all on my project here.
